So many people are still homeless but for some, these once homeless people now have a place to lay their head at night.

The Journey Home is an apartment complex built for homeless residents in Canyon City.
There are 22 one-bedroom apartments and 8 two-bedroom apartments. The rent is based on your income and number of people in your family.

Dee Dee Clement is the director of Loaves and Fishes Ministry and was instrumental in getting Journey Home to become a reality. In three days the complex was filled to capacity.

Many people have lived on the street or in their car some for years and some months or days. However, having your own home for these people is a dream come true.
Many people throughout the community pitched in to provide furniture, pots, and pans and other household essentials to help get these people started.

There will be an open house on July 24 where the community can take a tour of the new apartment complex.
