For those who have Thanksgiving Day and the day after off, we have some ideas for you on how to spend that long weekend.

Catch the Glow - Estes Park

This is so cool. The whole town just lights up to get the season underway. The evening glow parade has floats that light up and with the bands playing, the singing and the joyous atmosphere,  you have everything you need to just enjoy.

Obviously, a city as large as Denver would have one amazing parade and they do. The 43rd annual Parade of Lights on Thanksgiving weekend brings together the old and the new. Just check out the floats and how they're built and lit and you'll see what I mean. Don't miss the marching bands. Also, check out the Grand Illumination while you're there. Union Station is the place.

Going strong for 25 years, the Pueblo Parade of Lights gets everyone looking forward to Thanksgiving weekend. The people of Pueblo go all out with over 100 lighted floats, bands and a lot of fun.
