A woman in Illinois did what almost everyone does- she took a "selfie" and posted it on Facebook. But what happened next had her getting arrested.

A 27-year-old woman in Illinois took multiple "selfies" and posted them on Facebook. The problem? The clothes she was wearing in the pics were stolen from a local boutique, and you guessed it- she was the one who stole them.

Soon after the clothes were stolen, an owner of the boutique went on Facebook and posted pictures of the unique leopard print dress.

In a town of only 8,000, it was inevitable that there would be some friend cross-over or someone who might recognize that dress. And that's just what happened.

The leopard print "selfie" girl was arrested and was also found with two t-shirts, sunglasses and a necklace also stolen from the boutique- quite the haul I'd say!

She was arrested for shoplifting and jailed because of an outstanding warrant on a prior drug conviction. Oops.
