The Secret Service has made an official announcement that suspicious packages, described as ""potential explosive devices" were mailed to the homes of former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Hillary Clinton.

The House of Representatives voted on Thursday in favor of the American Health Care Act, which would repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, which is commonly known as Obamacare. Congressional Republicans took a step forward in their years-long quest to repeal the Obamacare, the 2010 law that reshaped the country's individual health insurance market.

At the White House on Tuesday, President Obama introduced 10 new provisions aimed at reducing the gun violence he says is plaguing the entire country, as evidenced by the spate of mass shootings that have occurred over the last several years.
