When it came to turning holidays into hits in the 50s, you could count on singer/actor Gene Autry. He recorded what is probably the best known Easter song of all time, 'Here Comes Peter Cottontail,' that became a hit on both pop and country radio and was featured in the movie 'Hills of Utah.'
