It looks like the new amphitheater at Las Colonias Park may be ready this summer.

Construction has begun on the Grand Junction Amphitheater. We had better get the name right. Please.

I have to bring this issue back up again. Especially now, since construction is officially underway. In my personal opinion, I don't think Las Colonias is the right name for this new outdoor venue. You only have one chance to name something, so let's make sure the city doesn't make a HUGE mistake...

It has been approved and paid for. Construction is now underway on the new 5,000 seat outdoor amphitheater in Grand Junction. The project is divided up into three separate components. The theater itself, a new and updates trail and finally slough excavation...

Your turn to vote on the name for the new Amphitheater to be built in Grand Junction. Construction is scheduled to begin this October. The new venue may be done as early as the end of next year.

It looks like the plans are moving along sooner than later for the new amphitheater in Grand Junction. Might not outdo Red Rocks, but should be amazing regardless.
