The man who allegedly stole a snow-cat parked at a Minturn restaurant and towed it to Grand Junction has been arrested in Boulder.

Jason Donald Cuervo, 27, was arrested by authorities at a Toyota dealership in Boulder. Cuervo is believed to be the person who hitched the trailered Sno-Cat to his Toyota pickup, drove it to Grand Junction, and hid in the garage of a home.

Mesa County law enforcement responded to the home after being contacted by at least one witness who knew where the Sno-Cat was hidden. Police believed Cuervo was barricaded inside the residence, but he managed to escape capture.

The Boulder County Sheriff's Office received a tip that Cuervo would be at the Toyota dealership to have his truck repaired.

Cuervo is currently in the Boulder County Jail facing charges of Distributing a Controlled Substance, Obstructing a Peace Officer, Drug Possession, Driving a Vehicle with a Suspended License, Unlawful Extraction, First-degree Auto Theft, Weapon Possession and Vehicular Eluding.
