Never give up hope. That's the moral of this story. Bow WOW you could say.

An adopted dog from Colorado, that had been stolen, was tracked down in Missouri. The most bizarre part of the story is that the St. Bernard was located 5 years after the abduction.

Thanks to the tireless work of Melissa Morton, the true owner of the kidnapped canine was discovered. Morton, who is a volunteer at an animal shelter, managed to discover the pup's profile. It wasn't easy, the dog was wearing a microchip, but all the information seemed to be outdated. However, Melissa did not rest on her laurels.

The family is reported to be thrilled with the return of their long lost member.
