Steve King Now Facing Three Felony Charges

Steve King was endorsed by some pretty big names with great reputations in his bid to be the Republican nominee for Mesa County Sheriff, and he won. But now he faces three felonies and jail time.

State Senator Steve King now faces three felonies and two misdemeanors and jail time for defrauding the Mesa County Sheriffs Office and Colorado Mesa University of thousands of dollars.

And don't forget about the time card scandal- which I still don't completely understand. But falsifying official documents no matter how minor it may seem, is still against the law.

After a three week investigation, King faces some pretty major charges that will no doubt end any future political aspirations. Innocent until proven guilty. That's what our justice system promises, and I'd like to believe that to be true.

I just have to wonder, what he was thinking?
