Have you seen these on North Avenue? They are called radar speed signs. What are your feelings towards these things?

I get the point of these things, but is it really necessary to put one on North Avenue? We already have speedometers in our vehicles. Granted, not everyone looks at theirs. They are too busy texting. Plus, it is isn't a stretch of I-70 where you can bury the gas pedal and hit a speed of Mach 1.

I guess I feel like I'm being treated as a child when I see this one on North Avenue. There were a couple of these previously out on Monument Road and out on 340. To me, those made more sense. Especially on Monument Road with those couple of sharper corners and the amount of people biking out there. Plus, school zones should have these as well.
