After what seems like years of renovation, a new sign has gone up at the old Roper Music building at 5th and Rood in Grand Junction.

For years, 136 N. 5th Street was home to Roper Music, the IOOF lodge, a jewelry store, and ultimately, a music education studio. For some time now, work has been underway to modify the old building. Many have speculated what the end result would be.

Welcome Abstract & Title, Co. I can honestly say I've done business with this company many times. We've never done business at this location, though.

As you can see when comparing the two photos above, the renovation was far more than some simple little facelift. This was a major undertaking.

So, what if you're looking for music equipment rather than a title to your home? Where will you find Roper Music? Roper Music’s new location opened on the 900 Block of North Avenue, next door to Domino’s Pizza.

The previous tenant at the south of the building at 5th and Rood, RL Drum Studio, relocated to 2513 Belford Avenue, behind Planet Fitness.

Welcome to 5th Street, Abstract & Title Co. I can't help but think you'll be happy at this location.
