I’m like a ball of energy that has to be out and about all the time. I’m totally diggin’ how active everyone here on the Western Slope seems to be. Bicycling, hiking, swimming, running, horseback riding, river rafting all sound like my cup of tea. Basically, anything that has to do with the outdoors, music, or good food and good wine I love. Now that I’m here I want to be all in. There’s pressure here in Grand Junction because there’s so much to do, so I have made a list of the top seven things that I am determined to accomplish this summer.

Wine Tours and Tasting

A few that I’m looking at would be the Maison La Belle Vie Winery and the Varaison Vineyards & Winery.

There are so many places I want to go hiking, but the first place I will have to go to the Old Spanish Trail. It’s a perfect distance for me and it sounds so beautiful.

This may take some work because I’m kind of a wimp on scary trails, but I want to try Lunch Loop Mountain.

I miss owning horses. Someday I’ll own one again, but for now back to Rimrock Adventures.

I think the best way to tour each of the Art Galleries would be to experience the Art on the Corner event that happens in downtown Grand Junction on the first Friday of each month. This sounds fabulous.

For now, this should keep me pretty busy over the summer as I share my journey with you and explore one of the most beautiful places on earth. If there’s anything that you believe I should add to my list, please let me know.
