The town of Palisade invites you to the "Dreams Come True Under The Red White & Blue" parade on July 4th. Come celebrate your independence in the beautiful downtown palisade. Not sure where to sit for the best view? Here's an advance look at the route, and a few suggestions.

As you are no doubt aware, parades are always best when you can find a good spot along the route. Take an advance look at the parade, and find your favorite vantage point.

The parade will start at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 4. Vehicles will line up at the fire station. The parade will start on Iowa Avenue, heading north to 3rd Street. Eventually, 3rd Street begins to curve and head east. At Main Street, the route will turn right and head south. The parade then turns west on 8th Street, makes a right on Peach Avenue, then a left on 7th Street.

Okay, that was confusing. Take a look at the map above and follow the arrows. For your viewing pleasure, I've indicated three locations on the satellite view below where you should find excellent seating along the parade route. The red arrow indicates the parade's starting point. The green arrows indicate places where you should find great "open" spaces, just perfect for parade watching.
