Now is the time to prep for the Rose Hill Rally, a 50K and 100K bike ride supporting St. Mary's Hospital's Rose Hill Hospitality House.

The ride begins and ends at Canyon View Park off of 24 Road on Sunday, May 5th. Registration will begin at 7 in the morning. Regardless of whether you take the 50K route or 100K, you'll enjoy the beautiful ride, the friendly people, and a chance to get a good healthy ride in under great cycling conditions.

The Rose Hill Rally is not a race by any means. Riders of all ages and levels make their way to this event. Many of us chose to make the ride on mountain bikes. You'll see plenty of parents and children riding tandem bikes or pulling a "kiddie kart." Granted, 100K on a mountain bike can be a little rough, but, it has been done.

More than anything, the rally offers a chance for cyclists to participate in a very well routed, very safe, family ride. It's also a perfect way to kick off the cycling season. One word of advice; it does pay to get a prep riding in before the event. 100K is a pretty good ride in anybody's book.

When it is all said and done, the rally supports the Rose Hill Hospitality House, providing accommodations for St. Mary's out-of-town patients and their families.
