How would you feel if a Grand Junction area restaurant tried this?

This story actually comes from Sedro-Woolley, Washington. A town in the northern part of the state. But, it could have been anywhere in the United States.

Four deputies from the Skagit County Sheriff's office were finishing up eating lunch at a Sedro-Woolley Chinese restaurant named Lucky Teriyaki. While they were paying the bill, the owner of Lucky's requested that the officers NOT eat there anymore. He went on to say that his customers didn't like the police in the restaurant.

Later, according to the Chief Deputy, this request was confirmed by the restaurant owner when the deputy talked to him.

Now, all businesses do have that implicit right. We have seen the signs. 'We have the right to refuse service to anyone.' And I believe in that right. I'm not sure if your entire County Sheriff's Department would be the first people to ban from your business, but I also do not know if there is any type of bad blood or a negative history between the two parties. No details were given. But, the response on their Facebook page is interesting. Click on that link to check it out.
