RaeLynn has given fans another taste of her personal upcoming album, Wildhorse, with the release of a new song called "Insecure." The 22-year-old singer shares that the new track continues the themes of emotion and empowerment present on the new album.

The song inspires women to believe in themselves and those who support and love them.

“I wanted this song to be like a pep talk,” RaeLynn tells ET. “Like, [the lyrics that say] ‘Don’t get insecure / He’s not into her / She’s playing dirty all flirty from across the room / You might think that girl’s a 10 / But she doesn’t count to him.’ I love that line in the song because it’s so true.

"Insecure" follows two previously shared tracks, "Diamond" and "Love Triangle," the latter of which focuses on RaeLynn's emotional reaction to her parents divorce when she was a child. She recently opened up to Taste of Country about the song and its powerful background.

“Anybody that I’ve ever talked to that comes as a child of divorce like me, there’s a part of you that’s scared, but there’s also a part of you that knows that you don’t ever want to repeat those mistakes," she says of her own marriage.

Wildhorse is a project that serves a compilation of many significant events that took place throughout the past year of the young singer's life.

“Every lyric takes you through a part of my journey these last four years — this record is my college experience in a lot of ways,” RaeLynn says of the new album (quote via the Boot)citing just some of her major accomplishments this year as getting married to husband Josh Davis, graduating from high school and moving away from home. "All the highs and lows from these last four years are here."
