Powderhorn Open For Trail Riders

Powderhorn Ski Resort is open. Wait, what?

A bizarre weather system hasn't moved in causing a freak blizzard, Powderhorn is open for bikers to tackle the trails.

It will be the 'Official Grand Opening Weekend' July 1-3 for bikers from near and far to hit The Mesa. It'll be similar to the winter ski season in that daily and season passes are available. Even bike rentals are offered.

• One ride ticket $17. Full day $25
• Must wear helmet
• Hours are Friday 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday & Sunday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Season pass June 24 - October $179 for adults and $129 for children.

But, the coolest thing is just like skiing, you will using the ski lifts to access the trails.
