The final downtown Grand Junction farmers market of the year wrapped up Thursday and here's a few photo highlights. The weather was perfect for the final farmers market of the year in downtown Grand Junction and plenty of folks came out for the final time.

Of course, a big attraction was the annual Men in Heels Race to benefit Latimer House. Terra Energy Partners was this year's winning team.

Thanks to all the people that came to donate blood at the St. Mary's Regional Blood Center's Blood Mobile. I got in on the action and found it to be a very pleasant experience.

As always, there was plenty of produce and great music up and down Main Street.

Although the farmers market is done for the year, there will still be opportunities to pick up some fresh produce downtown. The Fall Produce Market starts next Thursday, September 22. This is a farmers-only market that will be held every Thursday through the end of October from 3PM-6PM in the 400 block of Colorado Avenue.
