Peyton Manning Good Guy Off The Field

This comes from Curt Autry from NBC12 in Richmond Virginia. You've probably never heard of Jordan Taylor before, but the 23 year old practice squad player for the Broncos shares his experience.

When the Broncos won the AFC and would be travelling to the Super Bowl, Taylor had a slight problem. He didn't even own a single suit that he could wear on the bus ride to the Big Game. So, he got up the nerve to ask Peyton if he had an old suit or sports jacket he could borrow. Now, how does a lowly practice squad player get the courage up to ask Peyton Manning a favor?

It turns out Peyton knows Jordan Taylor all too well. When Manning went down with his foot injury he turned to Taylor to be his warm up partner. Not only that, Peyton worked with him constantly during his rehab, with early morning workouts where Taylor ran endless routes to help Manning get back to full strength.

So, when Manning was approached by Taylor about the suit, Peyton didn't give him one of his old ones, Peyton had his own tailor come into the locker room and take Jordan's measurements for a brand new custom made suit.
