We can't make this stuff up! A 16 year-old boy was just doing what his teacher assigned him to do, write a fake Facebook status update and it got him arrested.

"I killed my neighbor's pet dinosaur." That's what 16 year-old Alex Stone wrote for an assignment where he had to write a "creative" Facebook status.

Oh my! The tragedy of a teenager admitting to killing his neighbor's pet dinosaur with a gun. But what if he really meant it?

What did he do so wrong that got him arrested and suspended from school? It was his second Facebook status update where he wrote "I bought the gun to take care of the business." Oh right.

The school saw his Facebook update and called the cops. The police searched his bag and his locker and failed to find the gun or the dead dinosaur. Strange.

He was arrested anyway and charged with "disorderly conduct". He was also suspended from school.

I wonder what kind of gun he used to kill his neighbor's pet dinosaur?

Have schools become too sensitive when it comes to students being creative?
