Western Slope Colorado made it on the list of America's Top 10 Secret Wine Regions

Palisade is known as Colorado's Wine Country so it is no surprise that it made the list. It ranked number three on America's Top 10 secret wine regions. Others on the list were Geneva Ohio, Sante Fe Mexico, Winston-Salem North Carolina, Arrington Tennessee, Stonewall Texas, Clermont Florida, Buchanan Michigan, Santa Barbara California, and Lincolnville Maine.

Palisade stuck out over other regions partially due to it's affordable tastings and family friendly atmospheres, but also because of the unique variety of wines offered that are made from peaches, honey, cherries, and plums.

The Palisade area has 75 percent of Colorado’s premium wine grape vineyards, with over 20 wineries.
