Palisade Bluegrass Festival Announces 2013 Lineup
The 5thannual Palisade Bluegrass & Roots Music Festival, slated for June 14 through 16 at Riverbend Park in Palisade, has come out with this year’s musical lineup.
Event coordinators have announced the event will showcase Colorado musicians, Americana music, and traditional bluegrass. Organizers also say that critically acclaimed and award winning artists will make the trip to Palisade this year.
On Friday, June 14, the Palisade Bluegrass & Roots Music Festival will feature Haunted Windchimes, Drunken Hearts and Waiting on Trial. Then on Saturday, June 15, expected performances include Brothers Comatose, Paper Bird, James Reams & The Barnstormers, and Devil Makes Three.
To finish out the festival on Sunday, June 16, organizers have scheduled Truckstop Honeymoon, Joy Kills Sorrow, Pokey LaFarge, and Justin Townes Earle.
Coordinators are offering early bird discounted tickets through May 31.
Mesa County residents can receive an additional discount by using the code MESA13 when purchasing tickets. For anyone wishing to purchase the camping-ticket combos, there’s one item to be aware of – organizers are expecting the camping-ticket combos to sell quickly.
