It really is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity - seeing Shania Twain live in concert. If you haven't seen her yet, you only have nine more chances before she wraps up her gig in Las Vegas.

Shania has been playing a steady gig at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for close to two years. Prior to that, we had to endure years of withdrawal from seeing Shania on stage.

Including today, Tuesday, October 21st, there are only nine shows left for Shania at Caesars. The nice thing about Vegas is the fact you don't have to set aside a tremendous amount of time if you're driving from Western Colorado. Here's a sample itinerary.

  • 8:00 a.m. - embark from Grand Junction area with you and relief driver.
  • 10:30 a.m. - stop in Green River, Utah, to fuel up and get donut and coffee.
  • 12:30 p.m. - stop in Beaver, Utah for gas and coffee.
  • 2:00 p.m. - Optional - stop in St. George for gas and coffee.

Keep in mind, you gain an hour when you reach Nevada.

  • 1:40 p.m.- stop in Mesquite, Nevada, for all-you-can-eat buffet. The buffet is good, but don't get the ham, it's not quite right.
  • 2:30 p.m. - stop at fireworks shop halfway between Mesquite and Las Vegas - stock up on lifetime supply of fireworks.
  • 3:30 p.m.- arrive in Las Vegas.
  • 3:45 - 5:00 p.m. - stand in line for eternity to get checked into your hotel. I never have figured out why they are so slow with check
  • 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. - spend time in hotel getting primping - it is imperative you look your best for Shania.
  • 7:15 p.m. - have your buns in your seat at Caesars and get ready for an incredible show.
  • 7:30 p.m. - Shania Twain hits the stage and causes you to go into hormone overload.

There you have it, a complete itinerary to follow, making sure you have the ultimate Shania experience. Please remember, there are only a few shows left.
