The Grand Junction Spotlight this week is on something that's this Saturday (October 13) at the Amp at Las Colonias Park -- it's Oktoberfest Amped! From the food to the beer to the music, here's what you should know about Oktoberfest Amped! this weekend.

When it comes to good music, we've got a lot of it. Headlining Oktoberfest Amped! is Grand Junction's very own Peach Street Revival. Peach Street Revival has been playing in Grand Junction for a few years and met through the Grand Junction music scene.

Gonzales and Jordan from Peach Street Revival told me it's their first time playing at Las Colonias Park and they're stoked play there. They've placed in places like Ouray, Carbondale, Gunnison, Paonia, Palisade, Fruita and of course Grand Junction.

Peach Street Revival is excited to play their new music this weekend at Oktoberfest Amped!. Wave 11, Toaster, and Polkanauts are also rocking the stage at Oktoberfest Amped! this Saturday.

Over 20 of Colorado's best breweries will be at Oktoberfest Amped! pouring all kinds of beer and cider. Palisade Brewing Company is one of the many breweries that will be on site. Peach Street Revival has played there before and they recommend their 'Dirty Hippie.'

Jordan and Gonzales also recommend the raspberry wheat ale from Rockslide Brewery and the 'Grow a Pear' cider from Talbott's. With over 20 breweries there, I'm certain you'll find something perfect for you.

With food and beer flowing and live music all day, the second annual Oktoberfest Amped! is going to be another blast for sure.
