Every Thursday night, the Mesa County Central Library invites the entire family to come in for their 'Neighbors Read' Programs. The events start at 6:30 p.m. and the cost is absolutely free for all.

The Month of March welcomes spring and warmer weather, so the Thursday night programs will be all about comics, bikes and bike safety. These family themed storytimes are a great way to learn new things and a new skill at the same time.

Thursday, March 16th at 6:30 p.m. will be all about Japanese style arts of Magna and Anime. Library Staff will show a different style of drawing while keeping safety in mind.

Thursday, March 23rd, the Winter 970WEST Artist in Residence Emmi Hall will allow everyone to express themselves in paint using only your fingers and your choice of watercolor paints.

The month of March will wrap up on Thursday, March 30th, with the Springtime Bike Safety Fair with Amy from Grand Vally Bikes. All Bikes will be looked over for free, everything checked for safety, and rules for riding safely this summer will be taught also.

Remember to check back in April to see that the theme of the month will be and what you and the entire family can have fun together at the Mesa County Central Libraries.
