Apparently many don't mind if they get sick from eating raw cookie dough. This is what you had to say about eating raw cookie dough.

Just say no to raw cookie dough. It is not worth the risk of getting sick.

We all love it; I use to eat raw cookie dough by the spoonfuls when I was a kid watching my mother bake. I would love watching my mother bake cakes just so I could lick the bowl or get the beaters. Now we must really be careful.

 But now the CDC says that cookie dough can contain bacteria like E. Coli, E. Coli is killed when cooked.  Raw eggs used in the dough can carry salmonella.

Symptoms of Salmonella usually appear 6 to 48 hours after eating contaminated food. The symptoms could include stomach cramps and vomiting.

So do not eat raw dough, or batter, or let children eat raw dough including dough for crafts. For more information log on here.
