Both sides have been heard and have rested their cases in the Paige Birgfeld murder case trial. Now it is up to the jury.

In the Mesa County courthouse on Friday, closing arguments were heard. The 12 jurors will have to wait over the Labor day weekend, until Tuesday, when they will get together again.

Attorneys for the prosecution say there is more than enough evidence tying Lester Jones to the murder. Things such as a burner phone, phone records themselves, his on-line addictions and the location of the Paige Birgfeld's burned vehicle all should lead to a guilty verdict.

However, the defense does not agree. More than reasonable doubt exists, including self-titled 'bias' towards Jones. Attorneys stated there are at least five other suspects in this case, but they were practically ignored by investigators.
