May The Force Be With You In Grand Junction

This is the most awesome thing I have ever seen. Where do I get one of these?

If you are a Star Wars geek like I am, you will fully appreciate this totally excellent accessory. I spotted this out at the Lunch Loop trails and instantly had to have one. No luck yet, but I will begin my galaxy to galaxy search today. Even if I have to go all the way to the Dagobah System.

This on top of the great news that J.J. Abrams has taken over at the helm writing and directing Star Wars: Episode IX. For us lightsaber-wielding, AT-AT wanting, Jabba the Hut-hating, wannabe Jedis, this is truly a good day here on Tatooine.

Like a lot of true blue Star Wars fans, I was truly disappointed and even repulsed by the episodes chronologically titled one, two and three along with the vomit-inducing introduction and annoying appearance of one Jar Jar Binks. Horror.

So when J.J. Abrams decided to take a shot at Star Wars: The Force Awakens, I was thinking "oh no, maybe we should leave the Star Wars legacy alone."

However, I thoroughly enjoyed The Force Awakens and give big time props to Abrams for returning the glory years of the original trilogy.

Star Wars: Episode IX is scheduled to hit theaters December 20, 2019.
