Man in Gorilla Suit Mistakenly Shot With Tranquilizer Dart by Zoo
The guy in the gorilla suit probably doesn't this so, but this has to be the funniest story we've seen today. A man wearing a gorilla suit at a zoo was mistakenly shot with a tranquilizer dart and ended up in the hospital.
The story on dodo.com tells about the incident at the Loro Parque Zoo in the Canary Islands. Apparently the zoo was running a drill with an employee dressed in a gorilla suit so the staff could practice how to handle a gorilla on the loose. The problem is one of the zoo veterinarians wasn't informed and ended up shooting the guy with a tranquilizer dart.
The guy was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The tranquilizer was designed to take down a 400 pound gorilla, so the man is pretty much lucky to be alive. From now on, the zoo will make sure that everyone gets the memo.
