Many unexpected questions have come up during my wedding planning. 'Are you allowing kids at your wedding?' was one of those questions.

I answered, of course, I will have kids at my wedding, with no hesitation. It got me thinking, though, is it normal to not invite kids?

I looked up this article and have seen many points made for just having an 'adult' wedding. These points include trying to keep the guest list and numbers down, them not having entertainment for kids, so in return fussy kids and the parents having to leave the wedding early. I see these points and definitely understand that having kids at a wedding isn't for everyone. I never thought about any of this before, because it has never been MY day. Until now! :)

After reading a lot of these posts, I still want kids at my wedding of any age! I don't have many friends with kids, but the few I do have, are very close to me and I adore their little ones. From a DJ standpoint as well, I love watching kids dancing all night long. When they are having the time of their lives, they can light up a room.

If you've had kids at your wedding, how did you keep them entertained??  Would love to hear your thoughts!
