I never know who I am going to have the chance to talk to and meet. This year was a good one. From Grand Junction locals to a comedy legend. It sure was fun.

Grand Junction resident Zack Vogel took on the ultimate physical and mental challenge on TV, or anywhere, for that matter. Zack was in the studio and he told us everything about what it was like competing on Steve Austin's 'Broken Skull Challenge.'

With an assist from our special pinch-hitter Callie, we talked to Gretchen Wilson right before Country Jam. Her performance here was here first one in 3 1/2 years! Listen to what she has been up to.

The ONE and ONLY legendary comedian Gallagher sat in with me one morning before his appearance here in Grand Junction. We talked crime shows and of course, watermelons.

It has never happened before. Two Grand Junction area woman were crowned 2018 Miss Colorado and 2018 Miss Teen Colorado. Both Chloe B. and Chloe Z. stopped in and chatted about their experience. 

They have taken Country music by storm and they rocked it at Country Jam. With another fill-in from Callie, we had a chance to talk to lead singer Matthew Ramsey. He may have spilled more beans than he wanted.

Wow, was this guy a huge surprise at Country Jam. He got that place rocking on Thursday night. Plus, he was the coolest interview. Justin Moore should be a bigger superstar.
