June Means Free Fishing Weekend is Coming

Get ready to roll the calendar over to June and that means Colorado’s ‘Free Fishing Weekend’ is coming up. This is always one of my favorite weekends of the year when a bunch of us head out and spend the weekend with a line in the water.

The first full weekend in June each year is set aside for ‘Free Fishing Weekend’ which means anyone can hit the great lakes or streams of Colorado and fish without a license. This is a great time to take the kids and other family members out to discover how great fishing is.

This year ‘Free Fishing Weekend’ will take place June 7th and 8th and is a perfect time to take the whole family out for a fun time. The one piece of advice I have is don’t have too many and end up in a fishing fail video.
