Nashville-based singer-songwriter Jenna Torres is debuting the music video for her single “Heart on Wheels” exclusively for readers of The Boot.

Directed by Mil Cannon and shot in Dahlonega, Ga. -- a bucolic setting that provides a perfect backdrop for Torres' pop-country anthem -- the "Heart on Wheels" video co-stars Blackberry Smoke’s Richard Turner as the smoldering Torres’ love interest. Torres calls her co-star "a founding member of one the best touring bands you will ever see," and notes that Turner "knows a whole lot about love and freedom, having toured the world for more than 15 years."

“When it comes to love, timing is so critical. Hearts may be in sync, but if you’re headed in different directions, it can be hard to make it last,” she notes. “Even so, the shared moments are no less magical. I will always believe that memories are worth making, and that no love is wasted. Some stories, you have to live to tell, and this is one of them.”

“Heart on Wheels” will appear on Torres’ forthcoming album, Wild Sugar, the follow-up project to her 2014 release, A Woman’s Touch. Prior to making her debut as a solo artist, Torres was a career songwriter, working with Warner Music Group and Warner/Chappell Music; fans may recognize her name from Martha Wash’s anthem “Proud,” or from the Christian Top 10 hit “Busted Heart,” released by For King & Country.

Wild Sugar is set for release on Feb. 17, 2017; "Heart on Wheels" and Torres' previous releases are available for download on iTunes.
