Is Snow Really Necessary in Order for You to Ski in Western Colorado? [VIDEO]

Should the fact that our regional ski slopes have a zero-inch base as of December 17 really deter us from hitting the slopes? These folks chose to pursue some "extreme" skiing despite a complete lack of snow.

Well, apparently, snow is an essential ingredient. That footage didn't look all that extreme.

Considering it is actively snowing as of this very moment, (9:52 am, Wednesday, December 17) perhaps some legit skiing may soon become a reality.
