Consider the possibilities and then vote in our listener poll.

COLORADO SPRINGS
Here's a big city - half a million strong, and in a gorgeous location at the base of wondrous Pike's Peak. It definitely has a big city feel to it, which may appeal to you - or not. You've got plenty of restaurants, shopping, professional baseball, beautiful scenery, and outdoor activities. The worst thing about Colorado Springs has to be dealing with the I-25 traffic between Denver and the Springs.

FORT COLLINS
Here is a city that is similar to Grand Junction in a couple of specific ways. For one, it's a college town. For another thing, outdoor lovers flock to Ft. Collins because of it's close proximity to lots of outdoor things to do from camping, fishing, hiking, biking, and photography. And, like Grand Junction, there are places in Fort Collins where the growth of the city has exceeded the capacity to efficiently move a large volume of traffic.

PUEBLO
If  you prefer a good-sized city, but, not huge, Pueblo might be a good option with a population of 160,000 and close proximity to Colorado Springs. It certainly isn't the most glamorous city in Colorado by any means and the crime rate there is higher than the national average. But, the climate is mild, and Pueblo is home to the Colorado State Fair, the largest single event in the state.

MONTROSE
On the smaller side of things is Montrose, which is one of the most scenic towns in western Colorado. The view of the mountains from Montrose is extraordinary, which makes just driving through Montrose a real pleasure. Good shopping and dining options abound - and, of course,  you have the Black Canyon of the Gunnison right there in your back yard. How could you go wrong?

DURANGO
This is one of the best small towns in Colorado with a most charming downtown to compliment the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. Close to hiking, biking, fishing, skiing, rock climbing, hunting, and lots of history, Durango may be one of the best-kept secrets in the entire state.

DENVER
Then, of course, is the mile-high city, home of the Broncos, Rockies, Nuggets, Avalanche, Pepsi Center, Water World, Elitch Gardens, and neighbor to the famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre. If you love the big city, you have to love Denver. Aside from traffic, smog, crime, and snow, Denver is the perfect city.
