How will you ring in the New Year? Will you be going out on New Year's Eve or staying at home watching Ryan Seacrest with Dick Clarks Rockin New Year Eve on TV, and then watching the ball drop?

There are many traditions that different cultures do to bring good fortune in the New Year. One of the New Year traditions is to sing "Auld Lang Syne", many people do not know the words. I had people on the KEKB trying to sing the song and many did not know the words but did a great job faking it. I also hear eating black-eyed peas at midnight brings prosperity

Spain

In Spain, it is customary to eat 12 grapes – one at each stroke of the clock at midnight on New Year’s Eve.

Colombia
