How Do You Handle Snoring?

I snore thank goodness I don't have a mate right now. I think I have woken myself up choking. I had one person tell me that his wife sounded like a motorboat and thought someone was outside trying to start their boat.

I know there are many ways to combat snoring. I used to have a significant other and everytime I would wake up because of snoring I would be a little upset and end up giving a slap on the arm and say stop snoring stop snoring. Many couples sleep in separate bedrooms just to get a good night sleep. What lengths have you resorted to, to get a good nights sleep?

I have seen the breath right strips, and people have made homemade contraptions out of cardboard to stop the snoring. They also have machines I think nowadays from the hospital that they use to treat sleep apnea.
