The town of Hotchkiss shows us true community spirit.

Six months ago, Mike Hillman was severely injured in an accident while he was trimming trees. He was paralyzed from the neck down. He has been in Denver at Craig hospital ever since.

But he finally returned home last week and was quite surprised at what was waiting for him.

The town of Hotchkiss banded together to build Mike a complete wheelchair accessible home. The idea started with one of Mike's friends Ray Waske and grew from there.

The whole endeavor only took 66 days to complete. Of course, that was with crews working day and night to finish in time.

Mike and his wife Christine were beyond overwhelmed.
