There's a new spin on a Palisade iconic cafe.

14 different restaurants, more than 80 years and 11 owners later, John Sabal is ready for his turn at the helm.

Welcome to the Palisade Cafe 11.0.

'Farm-to-table' and 'ultimate freshness' are the goals set by the new chef, Dave Erwin. The cafe will be taking advantage of some of the great LOCAL opportunities. For example, the owners have already bought a 21-week cycle of fresh produce from a Palisade farm known as Field to Fork. They also will be getting tomatoes and select other produce from Blaine's Tomatoes and Farm, also in Palisade.

To wash that all down, there is quite a selection of Palisade wines. Along with serving beer from two Palisade Breweries, they also have Rockslide, Kannah Creek, and Copper Club Breweries provided refreshments.
