In advance of her new album, The Weight of These Wings, Miranda Lambert has shared another one of the project's tracks, "Highway Vagabond."

Written by Luke Dick, Natalie Hemby and Shane McAnally, "Highway Vagabond" will appear on the Nerve, the first disc of Lambert's The Weight of These Wings double album.

“Highway vagabond / Living like hippies / Moving right along to the next big city,” Lambert sings in the chorus of "Highway Vagabond." “Okay, jump off the exit / Truck stop, rest stop, next stop Texas / Caravan like a Wild West show / I don’t care, man, as long as we go my way ..."

Readers can press play above to hear "Highway Vagabond." Lambert's current single, "Vice," is also on the Nerve, and fans who saw Lambert this summer got to hear another of the disc's tracks, "Covered Wagon." The Weight of These Wings' second disc is titled the Heart, and from that disc, Lambert has shared "Keeper of the Flame," the song from which Lambert's summer tour drew its name.

Anticipation has been building for The Weight of These Wings, especially in light of the singer’s well-publicized divorce from Blake Shelton. The aftermath of that relationship was detailed in Shelton’s If I’m Honest, and Lambert has been clear that her album will also be … well, honest.

“Every record I’ve ever made has been a reflection of where I am right then in my life, however old I am. And I’ve never held back at all,” Lambert explains. “But this time, with what I happened to be going through in my life, being honest was never really a choice. Everybody knew anyway. So I just said, I’m gonna journal it, and — good days and bad days — use it for my art.”

Don’t expect The Weight of These Wings to be a sad breakup album, though.

“I’m never gonna have an album that’s quote-unquote a ‘heartbreak album’. Because everybody has bad moments, and then you come out of it, and you have a great moment, and then you have some somber times,” she says. “I want an emotional journey, because that’s what life is, and I want to document that.”

After releasing The Weight of These Wings on Nov. 18, Lambert will begin her 2017 Highway Vagabond Tour on Jan. 26 in Evansville, Ind.
