Canaan Smith has announced a brand-new single, "Like You That Way." The song will officially be going for adds at country radio on April 10.

Readers can press play below to hear an acoustic version of "Like You That Way," which Smith performed while on tour in Europe in late 2016. Smith wrote the song with Jesse Frasure and Brett James, and co-produced the track with Frasure and Kos Weaver; the studio version of the tune is uptempo pop-country.

"Ain't nothin’ ‘bout you, baby, I wanna change / Girl, you're Miranda Lambert crazy and I like you that way," Smith sings in the chorus of "Like You That Way. "You keep the sunshine in your pocket and the rain on a chain / Yeah, you're a little complicated, but I like you that way."

Country's Greatest Love Stories

Smith spent the fall out on the road for his headlining Sundown Ready Tour. During a stop at Country Jam in Grand Junction, Colo., in June of 2016, the singer revealed that he had been working on new music.

“This new stuff we’re really excited about,” Smith said at the time. “Y’all stay tuned because we have something coming for you.”

Smith released his debut album, Bronco, in June of 2015. The album contains the No. 1 single "Love You Like That" and the Top 30 single "Hole in a Bottle."
