Haunted Grand Junction: Patterson Road Picket Fence

The next stop on our Grand Junction 'Haunted' Field Trip is on Patterson Road.

This one was suggested by Anthony from our Facebook page. Joe also said he has wondered about this place. For me, it's the white picket fence that really adds to the mystique.

First off, there is no evidence either supporting or negating any claims of spiritual activity. These are just fun, ghoulish stories that our listeners have shared with me.

So, here we are with the latest listener suggested location. Funny, because I have driven by here dozens and dozens of times and never even took notice of this building. Yes, it is set back from the road, but now that I have seen it, you can't help but NOT stare at it when you pass by.

It must have been amazing to grow up as a kid in this house. Look at that front yard. All that room!  But, now that's been empty and time has taken its toll, doesn't it sort of resemble a perfect place for ghosts to hang out? The property is on the bus route, it's hospital adjacent, there is a liquor store and coffee shop less than a block away. Seems to me, if I were a ghost, this looks like pretty sweet accommodations.
