Halloween is right around the corner and we know you’re looking for something fun to do with the whole family. Here are some great Halloween events in and around Grand Junction.
Trick or Treat Street & Carnival - Palisade
Head down to enjoy the Annual Trick or Treat Street in downtown Palisade is Friday, October 24.
- Touch-a-Truck from 4-6 PM - Downtown Palisade
- Pet Costume Parade at 5:30 PM - Downtown Palisade
- Halloween Carnival from 6:30-8:30 PM - Palisade Gym, 341 W. 7th.
Trick or Treat Street is a free event.
Downtown Grand Junction's Spooktacular
Grand Junction's downtown Spooktacular is a family-friendly event where kids 12 and under can enjoy tons of Halloween activities.
Make sure your kids are dressed up in a costume to enjoy the Halloween activities.
Kids will enjoy cookie and pumpkin decoratig with entertainment and spooky music, which begins at 3:30.
At 5:00 pm, a costume parade -- led by a witch -- will haunt Main Street.
Spooktacular is a free event.
Truck n Treat
Get your costumes ready for the 7th Annual Truck n Treat in downtown Fruita.
Truck N Treat is in the Fruita Civic Center parking lot, with tons of family fun that gives kids the opportunity to explore dump trucks, ice cream trucks, limos, fire trucks, police cars, concrete mixers and more.
Truck n Treat is a free event.
Zombie Prom
The 6th Annual Zombie Prom brings the dead back to life in a formal fashion!
You might get "mobbed" by zombies during the thriller flashmob on 5th and Main at 7:30!
These living dead will drag you to the Mesa Theater at 8pm for living-dead DJs on two stages, a photo booth available to capture your ghoulish outfit, and traditional beheading of the Zombie Prom King and Queen.

Trick or Treat Street - Fruita
Get the family all dressed up in their Halloween costumes and head to downtown Fruita businesses for some fun trick or treating from 3 pm to 5 pm.
Trick or Treat Street is a free event.
CMU Resident Life Trick or Treat Street
CMU Residence Life will open the residence halls to the public for its annual Trick or Treat Street.
Trick or Treat Street is on Friday, October 31, from 6pm-8pm. Please bring young children in for fun and games in a safe environment.
There will be tons (396 lbs. to be exact) of candy and great decorations.
