Grand Junction Welcomes New Restaurant to 7th & North Avenue
Have you noticed the new restaurant located in the plaza at 7th and North Avenue? Not long ago, a well-established eatery, Bocaza, vacated the unit. Now, there’s a new kid in town, and they’re open and ready for business.
A few weeks ago I set out for lunch at Bocaza. Upon pulling into the parking lot, it was obvious something was amiss. I had lunch there only a couple of days before. Suddenly… POOF!…. it was gone.
Fast forward precisely one month. Old Man Grill is now open at 644 North Avenue. I stopped by to take a look. Unfortunately, I was too late to try it out. The business hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Maybe I can swing by tomorrow.
Fortunately, a full menu is posted on the marquee. It’s an impressive menu, and the prices seem very reasonable.
Another Old Man Grill can be found in Laramie, Wyoming. Looking at their reviews on TripAdvisor, it seems their food and service have been very well received. Most reviews make reference to the “homemade” quality of the cuisine.
Well, I for one, am looking forward to trying the place out. The next time you find yourself on North Avenue and hungry for breakfast or lunch, swing on by.
