Grand Junction School Raising $10K

A local school is asking for a little help from the community.

Riverside Educational Center, 552 West Main Street in Grand Junction, is raising money to help support their programs.

The non-profit school is hoping to raise $10,000 by Thanksgiving Day. Hence, the campaign name 10K by Turkey Day.

They have already received two anonymous donations of $1,000 each. The staff of around 80 volunteers and it's 100 students are now turning to the Grand Junction community for some help.
