According to onlyinyourstate.com, this Grand Junction restaurant has made the Top 10 of the best BBQ sandwiches in Colorado. Let's go try it!

It's called the Kickin' Chicken Sandwich at Rib City Grill on North Avenue.

The chicken fillet is lightly breaded and then dipped in buffalo sauce, then jack cheese and a spicy ranch dressing to cover it all. Served on a toasted bun with a side of french fries it has been named the #6 best BBQ sandwich in all of Colorado.

When I think of BBQ, I rarely think of chicken. I think brisket, ribs, pulled pork, etc. So, for a chicken sandwich to grab one of the top spots in BBQ best of the list, there must be something about it.

The top spots went to #3 Colorado Smokehouse in Fountain with their pulled chicken. Runner-up is the smoked beef brisket at Smoke Modern Barbeque in Basalt. With the top spot going to Slow Groovin' BBQ and the concoction known as the man-eater which includes both pulled pork and sausage.
