The Grand Junction Police Department is attempting to locate a suspect who stole a pair of shoes from the Rimrock Wal-Mart store.

On September 12, the suspect switched the shoes he was wearing with a new pair on the display shelf and started walking out of the Wal-Mart store at 2545 Rimrock Avenue without paying.

When Wal-Mart employees attempted to contact the suspect, he ran from the store. After searching the area, police were unable to locate the suspect in this theft.

The suspect is described as a 35 to 45 year old white male. He's approximately six feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and the new shoes he stole from the store.
