Grand Junction Detective Saves Two Dogs and Warms Hearts in the Valley
The Grand Junction community is applauding a local police officer who did some quick thinking and MacGyver-ed a solution which saving two dogs from an area canal.
Grand Junction Police Department Detective Ed Prescott heard a call over dispatch involving two dogs who had become trapped in a canal near 28 1/4 Road. A fast response, combined with quick thinking, ultimately saved the day and the lives of two exhausted dogs.
