Let’s Bring Gary Sinise to Grand Junction

A few weeks back, we were introduced to Macy, who has opened a handful of lemonade stands to help benefit the Veterans Art Center here in town. Proceeds also went to the Gary Sinise Foundation. 

For all that she has done for those two causes, some others are trying to make one of her dreams come true.

Actor Gary Sinise, best known for his portrayal of Lt. Dan in the Tom Hanks mega-smash hit movie 'Forrest Gump,' has done extensive work in raising awareness and money for our brave veterans across this country.

He also has a musical band called Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band, that he performs with at all types of military events to help raise money.

Well, Macy wants to see if she can get Gary Sinise and his band to make a tour stop in Grand Junction for our proud veterans.

There is an on-line petition being circulated that is trying to convince the actor to pay a visit to our area. And to bring his band along to play a special show for our area veterans.
