There's always that one neighbor, the one who spends big bucks on illegal fireworks, and then manages to put on a show that rivals the Grand Junction and Fruita fireworks. Out of all the neighborhoods in Grand Junction, which one puts on the best illegal 4th of July fireworks show? Now that the holiday is over, tell us if it was your neighborhood!

For the record, this is not a covert operation by the GJPD attempting to determine who will be conducting illegal activities this July. It's really no secret who has a stockpile of wicked fireworks. We are asking, historically, as in past tense, which neighborhood has put on the best show?

Many Western Colorado residents find themselves a perch somewhere on the Monument, Little Park, or even Lands End, where they can sit and watch free fireworks shows. Not only do they catch the official "sanctioned" events from the cities of Grand Junction and Fruita, but they also get to see the "amateur" shows as well.
